Chloe Lilac’s latest release, “Here’s Your Song,” transforms the pain of feeling used by a former friend into a personal release. The track comes from her upcoming sophomore EP, expected in spring 2020, and is accompanied by a music video directed by her long-time collaborator Jasper Soloff. At its core, the song explores the hurt of being viewed through sexuality rather than being recognized for character as a woman. That difficult subject gives the track an emotional foundation.

The video expands that story through the use of a sex doll as a symbol of being viewed only for sexuality. Its visual journey moves from isolation, with Lilac alone and uncomfortable, toward a final image of her surrounded by friends who supported and uplifted her. That progression gives the project movement without erasing the pain behind it. Lilac’s involvement in writing the treatment and creating the video also makes the visual feel closely connected to the song’s subject. “Here’s Your Song” ultimately turns an experience of betrayal into something expressive and empowering. Rather than leaving the memory as simply painful, the release transforms it into a story about identity, support, and finding strength among people who genuinely value you. The result feels honest, vulnerable, and ultimately hopeful while keeping the message personal today.
