Dax turns question to song with latest release “God, Can You Hear me?”
Dax’s “God, Can You Hear Me?” is less a song than a conversation that was never meant to be overheard.
It was a very personal question about faith, doubt, and purpose that the track came out of. Dax began writing it in December 2023, but the process of completing the song took years before he finally found the words in 2026.
Hearing the story behind it, I was so struck by how vulnerable the idea feels. There is no attempt to conceal the uncertainty. Instead, Dax leaves the questions open, creating something listeners can easily relate to.
