Election Day 2020 was more than just voting. It was also making sure every voice got a chance to be heard and DaBaby stepped up big time.
The North Carolina rapper has joined forces with the #NoCap2020 campaign to launch the “Vote Baby Vote” initiative, a statewide effort to increase voter participation, especially among young Black voters.
The campaign involved a bus tour, social media outreach, community events, and even free rides to polling stations in Charlotte. DaBaby also made an appearance at local voting sites, handing out merchandise and urging residents to stay involved.
His message was the most striking thing. “Having seen the struggles communities across the country were facing, I’ve never felt more important about voting,” he said.
With each vote counted, DaBaby used his platform to transform awareness into action.
