Joey Sachi lets emotion bloom on latest release “Fractured”
Joey Sachi’s latest release, “Fractured,” is born from a very personal songwriting process that allows for lived experiences and old diary entries to be the opening of a song. The writing starts with a chord progression and topline, and the emotion of the experience comes out in the sound. That personal foundation provides “Fractured” with an intimate nature.
Sachi then handed the production of the finished track over to Australian producer Andy Mak, whose detailed approach adds another layer to the song. His understanding of electronic music helps to reshape the material into something more full-bodied, while lush, emotive string arrangements add depth and richness.
