The 2020 presidential election was more than a political event. It was a strong human story of uncertainty, division, hope, and endurance.

Over 72 hours, photographers across the United States and in several countries captured moments that showed how deeply the election touched people around the world. Many people saw not only the candidates and campaign rallies but also the normal events taking place in their own neighbourhoods.

These images captured the human element behind the headlines, from poll workers and small business owners to families waiting for results.

I was leafing through the photos, and it was like watching history unfold frame by frame. Each image told a different story of a nation grappling with a pandemic, social unrest, and one of the most closely watched elections in modern history.

Sometimes the most powerful stories aren’t about political speeches; they’re about ordinary people living extraordinary moments.
